HADES: New Audio Interview With ALAN TECCHIO
June 10, 2010Vocalist Alan Tecchio of reunited '80s/'90s metallers HADES was recently interviewed by Steve Truglio for Poconos Internet Broadcast Company. The cat can be heard using the audio player below.
Truglio said, "My longtime friend and musical compadre Alan Tecchio of HADES, WATCHTOWER, NON-FICTION, AUTUMN HOUR, ATL, SEVEN WITCHES (uh, God, Al, what band have you NOT been in?!!?) calls in to talk metal-shop on MY SHOW.
"Al has been my employer, my bandmate, and, above all, one of my closest friends through the years. We talk about so much shit, the HADES reunion, recording with WATCHTOWER again, getting kicked out of WATCHTOWER, NON-FICTION's plights, 'Get Thrashed' the movie, Lars is a hypocrite, and, of course, that he's a 'two-bucker.' Mixed in some of the stuff he's done over the years, as well as a new WATCHTOWER song that rips pretty bad-ass, if I say so myself… and I did."
HADES — fresh off its first show in eight years — will perform at this year's Bang Your Head!!! festival on Saturday, July 17 in Balingen, Germany. Also scheduled to appear at the two-day event (July 16-17) are TWISTED SISTER, RATT, ANVIL, NEVERMORE and QUEENSRŸCHE, among many others.
HADES was supposed to perform at the Keep It True festival on April 24 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany but the band's flight was cancelled because of the volcano in Iceland. HADES did perform, as planned, on April 21 in Clifton, New Jersey. Footage from that show can be seen below.
HADES currently consists of Alan Tecchio on vocals, Dan Lorenzo and Scott LePage on guitars, Tom Coombs on drums and Kevin Bolembach (NON-FICTION, INFERNOPHONIC) on bass.
Professionally filmed video footage of the HADES reunion show on April 21, 2010 at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey can be viewed below.
Producer Jay Bones and Viking Digital Films filmed the Dingbatz show that will eventually become HADES' second DVD.
